A specialised confined space team is deployed for the tank cleaning procedure. Their primary task is to eliminate any residual fuel, ensuring that the tank is completely free from gases and potential contaminants.

Post-cleaning, an expert tank inspection team conducts Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on the storage vessel. This step is pivotal to ascertain the vessel's operational condition and its structural integrity.
Simultaneously, the associated pipework undergoes pressure testing to confirm its functionality and readiness for subsequent fuel storage.

In the event a tank does not pass the NDT inspection, OTS Group will propose either tank repair or replacement. Should replacement be necessary, we are able to provide a new tank and dispose of the old one via our ‘we buy any tank’ scheme

Upon validating the tank's safety and compliance standards, the next operational step involves supplying and transferring Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO) into the tank. We partner with Green Bio Fuels for HVO supply and oversee the transfer ensuring that this process adheres to stringent safety and quality protocols, guaranteeing optimal fuel storage.
