Innovative Fuel Solutions for HS2: OTS Delivers Bulk Fuel Storage and Dispensing System
At OTS Group, we are proud to play a pivotal role in the HS2 project, Britain's biggest environmental and engineering endeavour in decades. As part of our ongoing commitment to offering industry-leading fuel solutions, we've designed and installed an advanced Bulk Fuel Bunkering Site for HS2.
In a collaborative project with Certas Energy and Trident Engineering Consultants, we've created a bespoke fuel storage and dispensing system to support the rail project. This system, which is capable of storing both Diesel (DERV) and AdBlue, is designed to deliver superior performance while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.
The site features state-of-the-art storage tanks, efficient pumps, and high-tech dispensing equipment. It also incorporates a tried and tested Fuel Management System from Centaur Fuel Management Limited, supplemented by our latest Poseidon SCS™ remote monitoring solution.
Facing challenges like regulatory compliance, safety protocols, infrastructure requirements, supply chain management, and environmental impact, we implemented a comprehensive solution to ensure a consistent and safe fuel supply. It empowers HS2 to meet their ambitious construction schedule while maintaining full compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
